Will and Jodi Brandt are proud to announce that Robert Ackley has been with Novus Auto Glass for 10 years and counting. When he was 23, he moved from Toronto to Regina and got started in this business right away. Rob operates the Heavy Mobile truck and all heavy duty equipment is Ackley’s specialty. One of the craziest glass replacement requests he has seen included a 24H Motorgrader. The windshield is roughly 7 by 8ft and 12mml thick. It took most of the guys in the shop to help out with that job!
Ackley is married with three boys ranging in ages two to five. This might be influenced by his sons, but in a fight between Spiderman and Batman, he believes Batman would win. When asked what he would buy if he won a 10 million dollar lottery, his response was “he’d buy an island!” If he could give any advice about liking a job, it would be this: “Keep a positive attitude, and act like a duck to let the water run off your back. Don’t take life so seriously – do the best you can!”
